Graduate traits are significant qualities, abilities, and understandings that a student should acquire as a result of the learning and experiences they have while attending college. It is also known as also known as soft skills or employability skills. This ‘graduateness’ distinguishes them from individuals who do not hold a degree, and it is the added value that graduates can enjoy and offer with companies and society as a whole. It prepares students and graduates for lifelong personal development and learning, as well as social achievement. In addition to acquiring these characteristics through the academic curriculum, student can develop them through numerous activities outside of their academic pursuits.
